The MARK III SILENT TPS range has been designed to address the following challenges: a compressor without compromises for intensive use, hot environments (poorly ventilated rooms or tropical countries), oversized cooling, and control systems for effective monitoring of compressor operation. Equipped with 2 front-facing flexible inflation outlets, inter-stage pressure gauges, oil level and air temperature safety features, rotation direction detector, drive motor, robust compression block with oil pump and oil filter, automatic drains, and an electrical panel managing automatic shutdown of the compressor.

The MARK III SILENT TPS range is equipped with the MCH16 TROPICAL PLUS SUPERDRY compression block developed by COLTRI since 2010 and constantly improved to meet the requirements of performance, air quality, and ruggedness necessary for use in the most severe conditions.

A proven compressor block!

The MARK 3 SILENT TPS 315 ET block is designed to last. It has been tested thousands of times in the most extreme conditions worldwide.

It has been adopted by managers of the largest diving centers in Europe, Egypt, the Caribbean, Polynesia, and Asia for its reliability and ease of maintenance.

With over 90,000 machines in operation in fire and rescue services in Europe, North America, and Asia, it is capable of handling high workloads at service pressures ranging from 330 bars to 420 bars.

The MARK 3 SILENT TPS 315 ET block is also installed on merchant and military marine vessels to meet the safety needs on board and for divers.

It has been proven in the steel, automotive, plastics, and petrochemical industries to meet the production needs under severe conditions of use, allowing for specific industrial processes.

It is in service in the military operations fields of numerous armies worldwide, with its robustness and reliability being one of the selection criteria for the French army when renewing its machine fleet, with 150 compressors deployed in various theaters of operation around the world.

Compression block quality

The MARK 3 SILENT TPS 315 ET compression block is designed for professional applications. It is the essential component of the machine on which COLTRI has left nothing to chance.

All materials are machined from lightweight high-energy alloys, ensuring increased reliability.

The ground cylinders have undergone ionic nitriding treatment, resulting in a high surface hardness that enhances resistance to wear, friction, abrasion, and seizing.

The crankshaft is mounted on robust SKF bearings, guaranteeing a long lifespan of the block even at high temperatures.

The low-pressure gear oil pump and oil filter allow operation under severe operating temperature conditions.

The block is coated with a special paint that allows for excellent heat dissipation while providing protection against external aggressions in saline atmospheres. The paint enables easier maintenance during the cleaning of the cooling coils.

The inter-stage cooling coils, made of 316L stainless steel, are oversized in length (an average of 2 meters longer on each stage) and diameter (12mm diameter instead of 10mm on the 1st and 2nd stages) to ensure optimal cooling and increased autonomy of the filtration cartridges.

In addition to separators on the 2nd and 3rd stages, a cyclonic separator is included as standard from the 1st stage to remove maximum moisture right after the 1st stage.

The COLTRI MARK 3 SILENT TPS 315 ET block is designed to compress air and NITROX blends up to 40% Oxygen.

A compact chassis!

The welded frame of the MARK III SILENT TPS range promotes good cooling airflow and protects the user. The chassis incorporates the electrical cabinet, the pressure gauges on all 3 stages, the oil level safety, the ventilation air temperature safety, the rotation direction detector, the electric motor, the compression block, the automatic purging and shutdown system, as well as the filtration system. The epoxy powder resin paint provides effective protection in harsh environments.

A simple and reliable control system!

To optimize machine reliability in all environments (heat, humidity, saline atmosphere, storms, cold, etc.), COLTRI has chosen to forego the use of electronic control boards as standard. The entire machine is therefore controlled by a traditional electromechanical relay system. After years of service, any faulty component can be replaced locally without delay and without the constraints associated with the cost and configuration of electronic boards.

The compressor shutdown pressure switch, accessible at the front, allows for quick modification of the pressure range when lower inflation pressures are needed.

The pressure gauges on all 3 stages provide precise monitoring of the machine's operation.

The rotation direction detector prevents the machine from operating if there is a problem with the electrical supply and the phases are reversed. The machine is thus protected from the risks of reverse rotation and the associated cooling issues.

The oil level safety and ventilation air temperature safety ensure reliable machine operation even when the user is not next to the compressor.

An efficient and environmentally friendly automatic purging system!

The automatic purging system equipped on the compressor is silent and efficient. Its adjustable timer allows for adapting the purging frequency based on ambient humidity levels.

The purging block is designed to consume minimal air during the evacuation of condensates in order to preserve flow performance.

The automatic purging system is equipped with a condensate recovery system with silencers, preventing the discharge of oily residues into the environment.

Filtration for breathable air quality!

The MARK III SILENT TPS compressor is equipped with multiple filtration systems to ensure air quality compliant with the requirements of the EN 12021:2014 standard.

The compression block is equipped with cyclone separators on the 2nd and 3rd stages, and a double cooling coil on the 1st stage to promote condensation and cooling.

The final HYPERFILTER filtration with a capacity of 3L (2 filter bodies of 1.5L volume) ensures filtration of oil, odors, and water down to a dew point of -60°C. To minimize maintenance costs for dive centers, the cartridges can be recharged directly by the user using COLTRI molecular sieve and activated carbon, packaged under vacuum in a controlled atmosphere at the factory, providing uncompromised air quality and cost reduction by a factor of 4.
