COLTRI SUPER SILENT 345 AND TPS Compressor - TROPICAL PLUS SUPERDRY

The Super Silent TPS - Tropical Plus Superdry range has been designed to address the following issues: a compressor without compromises for intensive use, hot environments (poorly ventilated room or tropical countries), a soundproofed machine, oversized cooling, and control systems for effective monitoring of compressor operation. Equipped with 2 front inflation hose outlets, inter-stage pressure gauges, oil level and air temperature safety, rotation direction detection, a drive motor, a robust compression block with oil pump and oil filter, automatic drains, and an electrical cabinet managing the automatic shutdown of the compressor. Its specially designed body to improve cooling allows operation below the 70 dBa threshold.

The Super Silent TPS range is equipped with the MCH16 TPS compression block developed by COLTRI since 2010 and constantly improved to meet the performance, air quality, and robustness requirements for use in the harshest conditions.

The SUPER SILENT 345 AND TPS block is built to last. It has been tested thousands of times in the most extreme conditions worldwide.

Adopted by managers of the largest diving centers in Europe, Egypt, the Caribbean, Polynesia, and Asia for its reliability and ease of maintenance.

With over 90,000 machines in operation in fire and rescue services in Europe, North America, and Asia, it is capable of handling high load rates at service pressures ranging from 330 bars to 420 bars.

The SUPER SILENT 345 AND TPS block is also installed on merchant and military vessels to meet the security and diving needs on board.

Proven in the steel, automotive, plastics, and petrochemical industries to meet the production needs in severe conditions of use, it can meet specific industrial process requirements.

In service on military operations grounds for numerous armies worldwide, its robustness and reliability made it one of the selection criteria for the French Army when renewing its machine fleet with 150 compressors deployed in various theaters of operations worldwide.

Compression block quality

The SUPER SILENT 345 AND TPS compression block is designed for professional applications. It is the essential component of the machine that COLTRI has meticulously engineered.

All materials are machined from lightweight alloys with high energy performance, ensuring increased reliability.

The ground cylinders have undergone ion nitriding treatment, resulting in high surface hardness, providing high resistance to wear, friction, abrasion, and seizing.

The crankshaft is mounted on robust SKF bearings, guaranteeing a long lifespan of the block even in high temperatures.

The low-pressure gear oil pump and oil filter allow operation under severe operating temperature conditions.

The block is coated with a special paint that provides excellent heat dissipation while protecting it against external aggressions in saline atmospheres. The paint allows easier maintenance when cleaning the cooling coils.

The inter-stage cooling coils, made of stainless steel 316L, are oversized in length (2 meters longer on average for each stage) and diameter (12mm instead of 10mm on the 1st and 2nd stages) to ensure optimal cooling and increased autonomy of the filtration cartridges.

In addition to the separators on the 2nd and 3rd stages, a cyclonic separator is included as standard from the 1st stage to remove maximum moisture right after the 1st stage.

The COLTRI SUPER SILENT 345 AND TPS block is designed to compress air and NITROX blends up to 40% Oxygen.

A compact chassis!

The welded frame of the SUPER SILENT TPS range promotes good cooling airflow and protects the user. The chassis incorporates the electrical cabinet, pressure gauges on the 3 stages, oil level safety, air temperature safety, rotation direction detector, electric motor, compression block, automatic drain and shutdown system, and filtration system. The epoxy powder resin coating provides effective protection in hostile environments.

A simple and reliable control system!

To optimize the machine's reliability in all environments (heat, humidity, saline atmosphere, storms, cold, etc.), COLTRI has chosen to forego the use of standard electronic control boards. The entire machine is therefore controlled by a traditional electromechanical relay system. After years of service, any potentially faulty component can be replaced locally without delay and without the constraints associated with the cost and programming of electronic boards.

The front-accessible compressor shutdown pressure switch allows for quick modification of the pressure range if lower pressure inflation is needed.

The pressure gauges on the 3 stages provide precise monitoring of the machine's operation.

The rotation direction detector prevents the machine from operating if, due to a problem in the electrical system, the phases are reversed. This protects the machine from the risks of reverse rotation and the associated cooling problems.

The oil level safety and air temperature safety ensure reliable operation of the machine even when the user is not near the compressor.

An efficient and environmentally friendly automatic drainage system!

The automatic drainage system equipped on the compressor is silent and efficient. Its adjustable timing allows for the adaptation of the drainage frequency based on the ambient humidity level.

The drainage block is designed to consume minimal air during the discharge of condensate to preserve flow performance.

The automatic drainage system is equipped with a condensate recovery system with silencers, preventing the release of oily residues into the environment.

Filtration for breathable air quality!

The Super Silent range compressor is equipped with multiple filtration systems to ensure air quality that complies with the requirements of the EN 12021:2014 standard.

The compression block is equipped with cyclonic separators on the 2nd and 3rd stages, as well as an additional high-volume separator on the 3rd stage.

The final HYPERFILTER filtration of 3L (2 filter bodies with a volume of 1.5L each) ensures filtration of oil, odors, and water up to a dew point of -60°C. To minimize maintenance costs for diving centers, the cartridges can be recharged directly by the user using molecular sieve and activated carbon COLTRI packaged under vacuum in a controlled atmosphere, providing uncompromised air quality and reduced costs by a factor of 4.

An optional High-Pressure Refrigeration Cooler RF500 can be added to increase cartridge autonomy by a factor of 5. This option is ideal for industrial applications or diving centers that use their machine for more than 1000 hours per year, as the return on investment is very rapid.
