COLTRI SUPER SILENT 330 ET Compressor

The SUPER SILENT range has been designed to address the following challenge: focus on the essentials, reduced budget, a soundproofed machine, and control systems that allow for efficient monitoring of the compressor's operation. Equipped with 2 front-facing flexible inflation outlets, inter-stage pressure gauges, oil level and air ventilation temperature safety features, a rotation direction detector, a drive motor, a robust compression block, automatic purges, and an electrical panel managing the compressor's automatic shutdown. Its specially designed body for improved cooling allows for operation below the 70 dBa threshold.

The SUPER SILENT range is equipped with the MCH16 compression block developed by COLTRI since the late 1960s and constantly improved to meet the performance, air quality, and robustness requirements necessary for use in the most severe conditions.

The SUPER SILENT 330 ET block is designed to last. It has been tested thousands of times in the most extreme conditions worldwide.

It has been adopted by managers of the largest diving centers in Europe, Egypt, the Caribbean, Polynesia, and Asia for its reliability and ease of maintenance.

With over 90,000 machines in operation in firefighting and rescue services in Europe, North America, and Asia, it can handle high load rates at service pressures ranging from 330 bars up to 420 bars.

The COLTRI SUPER SILENT 330 ET block is also installed on merchant and military marine vessels to meet the safety needs of onboard services and divers.

Proven in the steel, automotive, plastics, and petrochemical industries to meet production needs in severe usage conditions, it can meet specific industrial process requirements.

It is in service in the military operations areas of numerous armies worldwide, and its robustness and reliability were key criteria for the French army when renewing its machine fleet, with 150 compressors deployed in various theaters of operation worldwide.

Compression block quality

The SUPER SILENT 330 ET compression block is designed for professional applications. It is the essential component of the machine on which COLTRI has left nothing to chance.

All materials are machined from high-performance energy-efficient alloys, ensuring increased reliability.

The precision-ground cylinders have undergone ionic nitriding treatment, resulting in a high surface hardness that provides excellent resistance to wear, friction, abrasion, and seizing.

The crankshaft is mounted on robust SKF bearings, ensuring a long service life for the block even under high temperatures.

The block is coated with a special paint that allows for excellent heat dissipation while providing protection against external aggressions in saline atmospheres. The paint enables easier maintenance during the cleaning of the cooling coils.

The inter-stage cooling coils made of 316L stainless steel are dimensioned to ensure optimal cooling and increased filter cartridge autonomy.

The COLTRI SUPER SILENT 330 ET block is designed to compress air and NITROX blends up to 40% Oxygen.

A compact and soundproofed chassis!

The welded mechanical chassis of the SUPER SILENT range promotes good cooling airflow and protects the user. The chassis integrates the electrical panel, pressure gauges on all 3 stages, oil level safety feature, ventilation air temperature safety feature, rotation direction detector, electric motor, compression block, automatic purge and shutdown system, and filtration system. The epoxy powder resin paint provides effective protection in harsh environments.

A simple and reliable control system!

To optimize machine reliability in all environments (heat, humidity, saline atmosphere, storms, cold, etc.), COLTRI has chosen to forego the use of standard electronic control boards. The entire machine is controlled by a traditional electromechanical relay system. After years of service, any faulty component can be locally replaced without delay and without the constraints associated with the cost and configuration of electronic boards.

The compressor's shutdown pressure switch, accessible from the front, allows for quick modification of the pressure range in case of the need for inflation at lower pressures.

Pressure gauges on all 3 stages provide precise monitoring of the machine's operation.

The rotation direction detector prevents the machine from operating if there is a phase reversal problem in the electrical network. This protects the machine from the risks of reverse rotation and the associated cooling problems.

The oil level safety feature and ventilation air temperature safety feature ensure reliable machine operation even when the user is not near the compressor.

An efficient and environmentally friendly automatic purging system!

The automatic purging system equipped on the compressor is silent and efficient. Its adjustable timing allows for adapting the purging frequency based on the ambient humidity level.

The purging block is designed to consume minimal air during condensate evacuation to preserve flow performance.

The automatic purging system is equipped with a condensate recovery system with silencers to prevent the release of oily residues into the environment.

Filtration for breathable air quality!

The SUPER SILENT compressor is equipped with multiple filtration systems to ensure air quality compliance with the EN 12021:2014 standard.

The compressor block is equipped with cyclonic separators on the 2nd and 3rd stages. The MAXIFILTRE final filtration ensures filtration of oil, odors, and water down to a dew point of -60°C.

Optionally, the high-pressure refrigeration cooler RF500 can be added to increase cartridge autonomy by a factor of 5. This option is ideal for industrial applications or dive centers that operate their machines for more than 1000 hours/year, as the return on investment is very quick.
