COLTRI SMART 235 ET Compressor

The SMART range is one of the most widely distributed machines in the world. Equipped with 2 front-facing flexible inflation outlets, a drive motor, a robust compression block, and a compact chassis with transport handles. The chassis is suitable for transportation, and this version can be optionally equipped with purges and automatic shutdown.

This version is suitable for users without access to a three-phase electrical network.

The SMART range is equipped with the MCH16 compression block developed by COLTRI since the late 1960s and constantly improved to meet the requirements of performance, air quality, and robustness necessary for use in the most severe conditions.

A proven compression block!

The SMART 235 ET block is designed to last. It has been tested thousands of times in the most extreme conditions worldwide.

Adopted by managers of the largest diving centers in Europe, Egypt, the Caribbean, Polynesia, and Asia for its reliability and ease of maintenance.

With over 90,000 machines in operation in fire safety and rescue services in Europe, North America, and Asia, it is capable of handling significant workloads at service pressures ranging from 330 bars up to 420 bars of service pressure.

The COLTRI SMART 235 ET block is also used on merchant and military ships to meet the safety needs of onboard services and divers.

Proven in the steel, automotive, plastics, and petrochemical industries to meet production needs under severe usage conditions, it can fulfill the requirements of specific industrial processes.

In service in the military operations fields of numerous armies worldwide, its robustness and reliability have made it one of the selection criteria for the French army when renewing its machine fleet, with 150 compressors deployed in different theaters of operation worldwide.

Compression block quality

The SMART 235 ET compression block is designed for professional applications. It is the essential component of the machine on which COLTRI has left nothing to chance.

All materials are machined from lightweight, high-energy performance alloys, ensuring increased reliability.

The ground cylinders have undergone ion nitriding treatment, resulting in a high surface hardness that promotes high resistance to wear, friction, abrasion, and seizure.

The crankshaft is mounted on robust SKF bearings, guaranteeing a long lifespan of the block even at high temperatures.

The block is coated with a special paint that provides excellent heat dissipation while protecting it against external aggressions in saline atmospheres. The paint allows for easier maintenance when cleaning the cooling coils.

The inter-stage cooling coils made of 316L stainless steel are sized to ensure optimal cooling and increased cartridge filtration autonomy.

The COLTRI SMART 235 ET block is designed to compress air and NITROX blends containing up to 40% Oxygen.

A Compact Chassis!

The welded frame of the SMART Efficient range promotes good cooling airflow and protects the user. The chassis integrates the electric motor, compression block, filtration system, and 2 front-facing flexible outlets with inflation valves. The epoxy powder resin paint provides effective protection in harsh environments.

Filtration for Breathable Air Quality!

The SMART compressor range is equipped with multiple filtration systems to ensure air quality in accordance with the requirements of the EN 12021:2014 standard.

The compression block is equipped with cyclonic separators on the 2nd and 3rd stages. The final MAXIFILTRE filtration ensures filtration of oil, odors, and water down to a dew point of -60°C.

An optional start-up box, purges, and automatic shutdown system available!

The SMART compressor can be equipped with a start-up box, purges, and automatic shutdown system either as original equipment or as a retrofit.

The box allows for compressor start-up and shutdown, as well as monitoring of operating hours with an hour counter.

The automatic purge system equipped on the compressor is silent and efficient. Its adjustable timer allows for adapting the purge frequency based on ambient humidity levels.

The purge block is designed to consume minimal air during condensate evacuation to preserve flow performance.

The automatic purge system is equipped with a condensate recovery system with silencers, preventing the discharge of oily residues into the environment.
